Clicking on each one shows you its effects. In the polices tab you can see which policies are currently active in your kingdom. Here you can spend 200 influence to propose a vote on giving a fief to a different clan. The fiefs tab shows each settlement in your kingdom, their owners, prosperity, and defenders. You can also spend 200 influence to propose a vote on kicking that clan out of the kingdom. Here you can support the influence of a clan by spending 50 influence, this increases your relation with that clan. In the clans tab you can see information about each of the clans in your kingdom. There are also five tabs, Clans, Fiefs, Policies, Armies, and Diplomacy. Here you can see the name of your kingdom, an option to leave your kingdom, and a portrait of your kingdom’s leader. Once part of a kingdom you will have access to the kingdom screen, press. Unlike in Warband, joining a kingdom does not automatically grant you a fief, you’ll have to work to gain one.īe warned however, as leaving a kingdom once you have joined incurs a -40 relation with each clan in that kingdom! You’ll need to not be a mercenary or vassal for another kingdom and not be at war with any kingdoms/clans they are not currently at war with. To join a kingdom, you need to speak to that kingdom’s ruler. Kingdoms war against each other to take territory and expand their domain. Each clan has its own unique banner but share the main colour with the others in their kingdom, making it easy to identify which kingdom a clan belongs to. In Bannerlord kingdoms are a collection of clans ruled over by a leading clan. Kingdoms are the concept at the core of Mount & Blade titles. You can of course simply create a new party for them but you will not be able to transfer troops so they would be on their own. Once they are free your companion will travel to a major settlement and await you to collect them. They will eventually either escape or be released after a ransom is paid (at present there is no ransom mechanic so you will not be made to pay for them but watch this space). If When one of your clan’s parties is defeated in battle the companion will be taken prisoner by the enemy party. Should you own a settlement they’ll likely stay close by. Parties will generally patrol round the map engaging in battle with the enemies of your clan. You will have to pay for the upkeep cost of any troops your new party hires so if you don’t have a steady income or a lot of denars saved up I would advise against creating one (with the acceptation of caravans, but I’ll talk about that in section 3). You can either give them some of yours or let them risk trying to recruit their own. The new party will (as of patch e1.0.8) only contain the companion and NO troops. To create a party, navigate to the parties tab in the clan screen, click ‘create new party’ and choose an available companion. Once you have reached clan tier 2 you have the option to create another party using one of your companions. The other tab currently only shows workshops you own and their income, more on that in the next section. Click on a fief to see more detailed information about it and assign governors. The fiefs tab shows the settlements your clan owns and assigned governors. In the absence of an owned settlement the party travels to an allied or neutral settlement. Clicking on a party doesn’t reveal any additional information but does give you the option to disband them.ĭisbanded parties/caravans will immediately stop what they are doing and travel to your nearest owned settlement, upon reaching the settlement the companion leading the party will disband their men and hold there until you either collect them or assign them to a new party/caravan. Dispatched companions are those sent to complete quests without you, however with the current system this is rare. In the parties tab you can see the size/limit, morale, location, and leader of each party, caravan, garrison, and dispatched companion in your clan. There is also an option to kick the selected companion from your clan. You can click on each one to see their last known location, clan role, traits, and skills. The members tab will show you the members of your family as well as the number, names, and limit of companions. You can click your banner to change it at any time. In the clan screen you can see your banner, clan leader, clan name, clan tier, finance and four tabs labelled Members, Parties, Fiefs, and Other.
